About Andrew Abel

Andrew Abel is a software developer based in Silicon Valley, California, originally from Helsby, Cheshire, England. He shares his life with his wife Angela, and takes great pride in his role as grandfather to five grandchildren.

Andrew developed his passion for spoken poetry through his grandfather, Wilfred Harrison, who enjoyed reciting poems. This familial influence shaped his creative direction toward children's literature filled with rhyming narratives, warmth, and humor.

His debut books grew from the simple joy of reading to his grandchildren at bedtime. Andrew has since published a growing collection of books spanning playful picture books, gentle Christian stories, and heartfelt tributes to childhood.
